Most of my current work consists of a series of figurative stylizations
in polished stainless steel. Employing a vocabulary of sparse form, I hope
to involve the viewer's own visual and tactile sensibilities. The dancing pools
of light and shadow serve to draw the viewer into the soul of the form, while
the manifold reflections establish a sense of communication. This reflectiveness
of form transcends dimension by conveying an illusion of elasticity, while
the fluid tactility of the polished steel emanates a certain sensuousness." AC
